What is the idea here?
The idea is to try to make extra money by selling 1,000,000 pixels for 3 cents each. We thank Alex Tew and his Milliondollarhomepage for paving the way with the brilliant idea. This brilliant student from England is selling his pixels for tuition and other expenses for school. We have other motivation. More on that later.
What is Pixel Advertising?
Pixel advertising is a new way to market your web site via the Internet. Our focus is to help businesses increase their web traffic locally and world wide where traditional methods (i.e. pay-per-click, banner ads, email lists) have shown minimal results.
The main idea is: Maximum Impact at a Minimum Cost. Your logo/link will get increased exposure and be easily accessible. Pixel billboards are the newest, hottest and most cost effective form of web advertisement. One important thing to note about pixel advertising:
With banner advertising the ad goes away. With pixel advertising people will always know where to find it to go back...
Pixels are sold in 100-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 10x10 pixels). The reason for selling them in 100-pixel blocks is because anything smaller would be too small to display anything meaningful.
You can buy as many pixels as you like, as long as space is available. When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own web site.
The pixels you buy will be displayed on the homepage for a 5 year period. Please read terms.
How do I get my image to the pixel size I need it to be?
The best way to adjust the size of your image is by using an image editor software (Photoshop, Paint, Painter, etc.). If you do not have access to image editing software, you can forward us your image and we will do it for you.
What do we plan to do with the money earned from this site?
10% of the money we earn will go to the HOPE Technology School. The remaining money will help pay for the server space, advertising expenses, personal debt (school loans, credit card) and of course taxes!
Do you plan to advertise this site?
Yep, we sure will! We plan to advertise on our car, the internet, business cards, word of mouth, and whatever else we can to drive traffic to the site that won't break the bank! In fact, we own some other domains that will push traffic over to this site in the long term. We hope to be around until 2015, but the Mayan calander ends in 2012.

We believe in running a honest clean business. Our site is geared toward promoting the best of San Francisco Bay Area. Example of sites that are encouraged to advertise on this site: Tech Companies, Web Companies, E-Learning Companies, Colleges, Universities, Schools, Small Business, Real Estate Agents, Real Estate Companies, Independant Beauty Consultants, Animators, Artists, Graphic Designers, Car Dealers, Karate schools, noprofit organizations, hotels and Churches. If you are unsure about us accepting your image and the link to your site. Contact us by email and we will let you know if it is appropriate.
How do I get started? (Paid Ad Space)
1.) Click on BUY PIXELS and CREATE NEW ACCOUNT.
2.) Once you create an account, it must be confirmed via your email. Check your email.
3.) Now, you'll have access to acquire pixel real estate.
4.) Remember your login and password, it's needed to access your account in the LOGIN .
5.) When you buy pixels, you can display an image/ad/logo of your choice in that space.
6.) The displayed image can be clicked to view your own web site.
7.) Once this information is uploaded, paid for, and approved, you're done! You can always make changes later. You may pay by PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard.
How do I upload an image?
1.) Once an account has been created, you will have access to various options.
2.) You will be asked to select available pixels from the grid. Each pixel block must be selected separately, so just click one and the page will quickly reload. That selection will be colored green. Continue until you have selected your desired size.
3.) Then you will be asked to confirm the order. This gives you a chance to review and modify the size and location of your purchase.
4.) Next, once you have finalized the size and location of your order, payment is required to upload and publish to the homepage. Payment is processed through Paypal.
5.) Finally, after payment approval, you can upload an image. Login in and select Manage My Pixels. In order for your image to upload into an entire area, select your purchased pixels (RED) in the upper left corner of your pixels.You should see a miniature view of your real estate on the next screen. For best results, the image you upload should be the same pixel size of your purchase. If you purchase 10 blocks x 4 blocks, the image will be 100pixels x 40pixels (width to height may vary). The correct image size is stated on the upload page.
What is with the goose in logo?
The goose is what really inspired us to do this website otherwise we would of not tried. The goose symbolizes season. Geese are very lovable and are found all over the San Francisco Bay Area. Read this scripture from
