Our goal is to provide youth with alternatives from urban challenges, by equipping them with development and leadership skills through education and technology.

Current Program Description

UrbanetEB is a three hour Saturday weekly tutoring and mentoring program for students in the following grade levels:

3rd Grade 4th Grade 5th Grade 6th Grade 7th Grade 8th Grade

Current tutoring strategies are centered towards math and English. We hope to add science and creative arts in the future. Our program is located at the Oak Center Culture Center, which is in the heart of West Oakland. We provide an encouraging atmosphere that we believe inspires our students to enjoy learning math and English grammar. We currently have two computer labs that run educational programs to stimulate the students’ minds and create an exciting learning experience.
