My Dad

What can i say about my dad?

What memories have i to give?

except that i am left sad . . .

and left to look forward and live . . .

The time we had together was too short . . .

The time i had with him left me dry in the heart . . .

i didnt get the chance to really know him . . .

to laugh as a child bouncing on his knee and forever on his heart . . .

What does it mean to me now to know . . .

that soon he will die and i will no longer

need to sow

new memories in my life with him as my father . . .
