I Wept Like Monet

I wept like Monet

his words are so great

yet it is the nature that

- pulsates

and with this too late.

 

As I look upon his capture

the light shining through

- my eternity

I realize and feel

the wonders of you.

 

What a way to capture light!

what a way to fill

- it in

what a way to drift

and a circumferencing will.

 

The water is so deep

I wonder what lies beneath

- the deep blue

but how do I see

under the lily wreath . . .

 

Your true beauty and vibrance

took my pain along

- the pulse of eternity

and made me weep

until forgotten is my sad song.

 

Thank you Monet!

Thank you for showing me

- the true light

for making me see what’s inside

and helping me to finally

 

give up the fight and be free
