I see the way I have been

and how I have been in sin.

 

Oh LORD – how do you forgive me

and help me back again to see?

 

You bring me gladness of heart

- that I do not deserve.

So that now I can say – How can I part?

- How can I serve?

 

I want to serve you in every way,

however, I see before that I need to pay.

 

Yet, my way was paid by JESUS death,

- on the cross

He suffered for me to live for eternity.

I am not my own boss

- only JESUS who suffered on the cross.

 

He is my LORD I declare.

So now, He can go and prepare

- a place for me – you see.

 

What have I to fear

when testing of my faith is near?

 

My LORD and FATHER are with me

so that through it all – I can see.

I will hold on tight

– then see clearly through His glory and might.
