Deep Searches

Deep searches she says -

Trench is dark she’s alone

Water to draw out the world is dark

God digs emptiness surrounds

I cry crying is vain

Pain spills don’t want to cry

Search the numb want to cry

Mute cry while talking not hard enough

Can’t get it out – hard enough -

Too far where does she go

Too deep - to the valley -

Not far enough - of the shadow -

Is it far enough - ? – - of death -

Pray drastically her Lord loves her

Crying out His name no evil to be feared

Call out including here

Forget what to say within the darkness

Forget the pain pulling her away

Don’t want to forget from friends, family,

Want to forget – her Lord -

Why is she here He pulls her out

A little child within once again

She walks in silence and one’s still

Plays with no one learning to be -

No one is around grateful . . . and

No one cares love without shame –

- herself . . .
