An Ode to His Grace

You got me through

And I know it’s true

You love me.

You saw my afflictions

And my enemies contradictions

But you settle you matter through.

As I remember being a small, an innocent me,

I remember frequently scraping my knee,

But every time you picked me up.

I remember all of my days of abuse,

And my anger growing within me, as a sorrowful playing muse,

But each time you pulled me through.

I see now that I would truly be a lost soul without you,

And I know now for sure that it is so true,

You love me for ever, despite my sins, through and through.
